Rich Gaspari Awarded the Ben Weider "Lifetime Achievement Award"

On Saturday August 8th, as the bodybuilding community gathered in Tampa, Florida for the annual "IFBB Pro Bodybuilding Weekly Championships", the evening included the presentation of the 2nd annual Ben Weider Lifetime Achievement Award.

Last years recipient Chris Dickerson was on hand for the presentation, along with Dan Solomon, Bob Cicherillo, Rob Wilkins and event promoter Tim Gardner.

With the blessing of IFBB Pro League Chairman Jim Manion, this years recipient was Rich Gaspari.  A 2004 inductee into Joe Weider’s Bodybuilding Hall of Fame, Gaspari’s achievements on and off stage have helped inspire others, much the same as the man for whom the award was named.

Gaspari TV presents Dragon's Den NJ mini-series

Hosted by Rich Gaspari, the first Arnold Classic champion in 1989... the Dragon's Den NJ hardcore training seminar offers a unique never before seen perspective from the DRIVE of a former IFBB Pro and Hall of Famer, the EYES of an IFBB judge and PASSION of a President/CEO with a mindset to change the industry -all in one up close and personal like never before. Rich opens the seminar with a talk about DRIVE and the seminar finishes up with the SuperPump Challenge. Previously recorded, the first ever Dragon's Den was held at Apollon Gym in Edison, NJ on Saturday January 31, 2009. The original Apollon Gym, then in Highland Park, was the first gym Rich Gaspari ever trained at when he was 15 years old. Gaspari Nutrition will now call Apollon Gym, home to Gaspari Nutrition in New Jersey.
