Whip up this delicious dessert for your sweetheart on Valentine's Day. Or, ya know, just for yourself. That's fine, too!
Ingredients
Bottom Layer:
- 2 cups strawberries, fresh or frozen
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tbsp sugar or other sweetener of choice
Top Layer:
- 2 cups of instant pudding, mousse, panna cotta, or similar (we used 1 sachet of panna cotta and made as per instructions on the packet, with 1 cup of whole milk and 1 cup of cream)
- 2 scoops (56g) Balance 100% Whey (Strawberry)
Directions
- Place strawberries, water, and sugar into a food processor and mix well to remove any lumps of berries.
- Line a loaf with grease-proof paper and spread the processed strawberry mix into the bottom of the tin. Place in the freezer until set.
- Make up the pudding mix as per instructions on the packet so that you have the equivalent of 2 cups. Put aside to cool (if necessary) before adding the Balance 100% Whey and whisking through to remove any lumps.
- Pour the pudding mixture over the frozen strawberry layer and place back in the freezer to set.
- Remove from the freezer 20-30 minutes before cutting up and serving.
