BioX Power Whey Protein peanut butter cups

Peanut butter and chocolate work well together in any combination, but there's something special about peanut butter cups, especially when they're homemade.

These peanut butter protein cups from BioX use Power Whey Complex to add a spike of protein to this decadent dessert. They work equally well as a post-workout snack or as a late-night treat.

Chocolate coating

  • 1/4 cup coconut oil
  • 2-3 squares of dark chocolate
  • 2 tbsp sweetener of choice
  • 1 tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 scoop BioX Power Whey Complex (Chocolate or Chocolate Peanut Butter)
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla

    PB filling

    • 1/2 cup peanut butter
    • 2 tbsp sweetener of choice

    1. Mix oil, chocolate, and sweetener together over low heat.
    2. Add the Power Whey, cocoa, and vanilla.
    3. If the mixture is too thick for your liking, add a small amount of chocolate almond milk or water.
    4. Let cool for a few minutes, then spread on the bottom of 12 candy cups and freeze for 15 minutes.
    5. Heat the peanut butter slightly and add the sweetener.
    6. Fill cups almost to the top with the peanut butter mixture, then freeze for another 10 minutes.
    7. Spread the remaining chocolate mixture on top of the cups and chill until set.
    8. Enjoy, and store in fridge for later.
