The last part of the year is always the toughest.
We are tired, we eat more than usual and sometimes overindulge in alcohol coffee and sugar - tis the season! We can feel even worse after the end of year wind down, but there are a few things you can do to support your body as we move into 2020.
One option may be to consider using chlorella to help support your natural detoxification pathways. Chlorella is a microscopic plant that is rich in phytonutrients, vitamins and minerals and contains the richest source of chlorophyll which helps attribute its cleansing and detoxifying properties.
Chlorella is also an amazingly powerful antioxidant that can help support against free radical damage, toxins and pollutants. So for those of us that are stressed, busy or active this is a great product to start assimilating into your everyday lifestyle.
When considering your brand choice it is useful to know that Lifestream Chlorella has its cell walls 'cracked' so you can properly digest and absorb the nutrients inside. It is also a certified organic product, has been tested for heavy metals, toxins and radiation and is grown outside with the support of the sun (essential for photosynthesis) to ensure the highest level of nutrients.
In a 'detoxification' sense, Lifestream Chlorella works by binding to heavy metals and removes them from our digestive tract before our cells can absorb them. It does not however interfere or bind to things we do need, like calcium or magnesium.
And as with everything, when trying something new, we recommend you start small. Each day start the day with a warm glass of water - overnight we get dehydrated and our cells need water to function at their best. It is especially important if we are big coffee drinkers, as coffee is a diuretic. Add a low dose of chlorella powder into this first morning glass of water (or smoothie) and build up the dose over the course of a week according to the pack directions. This approach gives your body a chance to get used to the support it is receiving and also allows you to establish an everyday routine.
So for this silly season (and beyond) try Lifestream Chlorella, a plant rich vitamin and mineral boost, to support your body's natural detoxification pathways.
Headaches, blemishes, tiredness or changes in bowel motions may occur when first taking chlorella. Drink plenty of water. Not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Always read the label, take only as directed. If taking other medication consult your healthcare professional. Lifestream International Ltd, Auckland. TAPS PP5140.
