Recipe Contest Winner: Jocelin's Protein French Toast
Jocelin's note: This recipe takes french toast to the next level, by amping up the protein by using 100% Balance Whey, the addition of natural sources of stevia you know exactly what your putting into your body to take your morning training routine up a notch!!
I love eating french toast for breakfast, and this recipe also satisfies my sweet tooth, keeps me full and on track for the rest of the day.
For protein french toast:
Place 3/4 cup egg whites, 2 tsp cinnamon, 1 tbsp stevia, and 1/4 scoop vanilla Balance 100% Whey in a bowl and whisk until smooth.
Dip two pieces of bread into the mixture, then place onto warm frying pan.
Fry for one minute, then flip and fry for two to three minutes.
- Place 65g plain greek yogurt and 1/4 scoop vanilla Balance 100% Whey into a bowl and mix. Add more stevia if desired for a sweeter taste.
- Top french toast with topping.
- Add thawed berries of choice or use fresh.
