Complete your day with these irresistible Salted Caramel Chocolate Chip Protein Pancakes.
A tasty treat that's loaded with protein and topped with delicious dark chocolate chips. Yum!
Ingredients:
- 2/3 cup oats (quick or old fashioned)
- 1 scoop Xtend Pro Salted Caramel Protein Powder
- 1 whole egg
- 1/4 cup milk (I used unsweetened almond)
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- Pinch of salt
- Cinnamon to taste
- Cinnamon to taste
Toppings:
- 1/2 tbsp. caramel sauce (sugar-free or regular)
- 1/2 tbsp. dark chocolate chips
Directions:
- Preheat a pan to medium/high heat.
- Add all pancake ingredients except for chocolate chips to a blender or food processor. Blend until a smooth batter forms, but be careful not to over blend or whip the batter. Add chocolate chips.
- Spray pan with nonstick spray. Spoon batter onto pan to make 4 medium-sized pancakes. Cook for a couple minutes per side.
- Once cooked, top pancakes with a drizzle of caramel sauce (sugar free or regular) and a sprinkle of more chocolate chips. Enjoy!
