Fave Protein and why: BioX Power Whey Complex is my ultimate go to protein whether I'm in competition prep or not. It is has got awesome macros with an impressive 26g protein per scoop. When mixed with just good old water it tastes like a classic thick shake, my three top flavours are Chocolate Peanut Butter, Banana and Cookies and Cream.
Best recommendations for muscle gain for both female and Male:
My Recommendation for getting those gains, to all the females out there I highly recommend you start of with a good protein this is an essential supplement for building "lean" muscle don't get hung up on the idea that you are going to get big and bulky this is not the case believe me. On top of this its never a bad idea to find some BCAAs to help repair and rebuild those muscles while you rest and get ready for your next session. Supplements definitely play an important role in gaining muscle but diet and exercise are your two biggest focuses having a good balanced diet of carbs, fats and proteins to keep you fuelled all day long is essential you should also not be afraid to add in some regular weight training to your regime.
To all the males out there don't think I've forgotten about you. Again you can't go wrong with having a good protein supplement as your first step in gaining muscle but whether you choose a standard whey protein or mass gainer is goal dependent. Mass Gainers are awesome to help put on size or for those hard gainers. Once you have chosen which is more suited towards your goals you can also look at stacking it with some creatine. Supplementing with creatine allows the muscles to store more of this high-energy molecule to provide greater gains in strength and muscle. Just like I said for the females you also need to include a variety of carbs, fats and protein to aid in building your desired body.
Pop in to see any of our friendly staff at our 4 stores in Auckland or feel free to flick as a message via email, Facebook or Instagram, we are more than happy to help you out with supplementation or advice.
Ultimate fatloss stack:
Winter is preparation for summer.
My Ultimate Fat Loss Stack is:
Genetix Nutrition ShredFX - I use this fat burning supplement when I decide to cut, it has amazing appetite suppressant ingredients. I take this first thing in the morning before my 30 minute cardio session followed by a second serving early afternoon to help get my metabolism pumping. My favourite flavour is Apple so delicious.
AllMax Nutrition Liquid Carnitine - Known as the fat transporter I take this supplement twice a day also, 30-60 minutes before my two biggest meals of the day. This is a good non-stimulant option that communicates with my body to use my fat cells as energy helping my get rid of unwanted stored fat. This comes in wild berry flavour it is a little bit sour but still good.
if you had a million dollars you would....
If I had a million dollars I would repay my parents for everything they sacrificed for me while I was growing up. I would buy a house, new car and pay off my student loan I would also look in to opening my very own nutrition business.
Tracks you train to: Whilst training I like to listen to 50 Cent - Get Rich or Die Hard Trying, Kendrick Lamar - King Kunta and Kid Ink - Bank.
Who's your biggest inspiration and why? My biggest inspiration isn't someone famous as of yet but keep an eye because she may just be. Is my friend but as well as fellow staff member Darnielle, she is a bodybuilder who competes in the figure category. She is one of the most motivated, dedicated, humble people I have seen in the fitness industry in a long time, she is extremely passionate about what she does and is always willing to offer her advice and support. I look up to her and can't wait to see what she brings in the future.
