A lot of us are back at work or school now and are ready to take on the new year with clean, healthy lunches and snacks. For times when you get sick of protein shakes or are busy and can't fit in a meals, these little treats can get you through the 3pm chocolate craving.
1/2 cup dry oatmeal or a gluten free crunchy brown rice cereal.
2 tbsp organic almond or peanut butter, I like Ceres.
A tiny bit of water just enough to make a paste.
Put all ingredients in a bowl. Mix. You need it liquid enough to mold but add more oats if not sticking together. Roll into little balls or squares and put in the freezer or fridge. They can be rolled in chopped coconut, ground nuts or just left plain. Transfer to fridge once set and eat as little snacks.
