WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We want our guest contributors to be passionate about fitness, nutrition, supplementation, or some other related area. We don’t care if you’re a professional athlete or a weekend warrior, and it doesn’t matter if you have advanced education in the field. If you think you have something powerful to share, we want to help you get it out to the world.

 

WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU?

We don’t offer compensation in the form of money or store credit. We’re sorry, but it’s just not in the cards for us. However, we do offer a place to feature your work and the exposure that follows. We have nearly 40,000 Facebook fans and we receive a nice chunk of unique visitors daily. Plus, you get a byline, author bio, and a link to your website if you have one.

 

ARTICLE GUIDELINES

Here’s what we need from you…

  • Relevant content – Please make sure you’re writing on a topic that makes sense for readers of a site like ours. Check out our blog for ideas.
  • Strong writing skills – You don’t have to be an expert writer, but you need to be able to string together a quality sentence. Also, please understand the difference between there and their.
  • Original and exclusive – All content needs to be 100% original, created by you, and exclusive to our website (it shouldn’t appear anywhere else).
  • Author bio - Keep it short and sweet.
  • Title and subtitle – Provide us with a working title, at the very least. If you have a good subtitle in mind, you’re welcome to share that, too.
  • Formatting – The text should be split into paragraphs and include headings for major sections. Don’t include anything fancy because we’ll just edit it out.
  • Length – Try to stay between 500 and 1500 words.
  • High-quality photos and/or video if applicable

 

RECIPE GUIDELINES

Here’s what we need from you…

  • High-quality photo and/or video of the finished product
  • An intro paragraph that describes your recipe. Why should our readers make it?
  • A full list of ingredients and measurements
  • If it includes a supplement, check out online store to see if we carry it. Please choose another supplement if we don’t.
  • Author bio - Keep it short and sweet.
  • Title and subtitle – Provide us with a working title, at the very least. If you have a good subtitle in mind, you’re welcome to share that, too.

 

HOW TO SUBMIT

Email your articles and recipes to webmaster@supplements.co.nz. Make sure it’s in a form that we can probably open (Microsoft Word or Google Docs). Also, understand that your submission will go through editing, and the final version might look a bit different than the original.
