What is HMB?
HMB (Beta-Hydroxy-Beta-Methylbutyrate) is a by-product of the normal breakdown of the amino acid, leucine, one of the building blocks of protein. Leucine is used in the body to build and repair muscle tissue.

Unlike many other HMB products available Healthspan Elite’s HMB 1g ensures 1,000mg of active HMB is available for utilisation by the body by including 1,465mg of calcium bound HMB per tablet. For optimum benefit, our nutrition expert recommends taking three tablets daily providing 3g of HMB.
