The capsule uses a protective coating intended to carry the enzyme past stomach acid. Evidence for many therapeutic claims is limited, so disease and post-operative treatment claims have been removed.
Important: Serrapeptase may increase bleeding risk. Do not combine with anticoagulant, antiplatelet or anti-inflammatory medicines unless professionally directed. Stop before surgery as advised.
