Kimmi: No. Although tyrosine participates in normal neurotransmitter and thyroid-hormone pathways, the supplement does not treat depression, pain or thyroid disease.
Important: Do not use with MAOI medicines. Ask a health professional before use with thyroid disease or thyroid medicine, levodopa, stimulant or blood-pressure medicines, melanoma, pregnancy or breastfeeding. Stop for palpitations, severe headache, agitation or marked blood-pressure changes.
