Kimmi: How strong is one full tablet?
Jase: It supplies 1500mg vitamin C from sodium ascorbate, calcium ascorbate and ascorbic acid, plus hesperidin, rutin and 1mg zinc. Dissolve it in water—don’t swallow an effervescent tablet whole.
Kimmi: The dose changes by age?
Jase: Yes. Adults and teens from 14 use a full tablet in 250ml water, while ages nine to thirteen use half in 125ml. Follow the frequency limits below. More than 2000mg may cause loose bowels, and the full adult maximum listed is 3000mg daily.
