Jase: What age is this probiotic for?
Kimmi: Babies and toddlers from six months to three years. One 1.5g packet is mixed into room-temperature breast milk, formula, another liquid or soft food once daily.
Jase: Why room temperature?
Kimmi: Heat can reduce probiotic viability. Each packet states four billion CFU of two named strains, but that minimum is specified at manufacture rather than expiry. Store dry at room temperature or below, and refrigerate after exposure above 23°C. Ask a paediatrician before use for premature babies, immune problems, serious illness or medicine use. Don’t use a packet if the seal is broken.
Suggested Use: For babies and toddlers (ages 6 months – 3 years), mix one probiotic packet with room temperature liquid (breast milk, formula, etc.) or soft food, once daily, or as directed by your pediatrician or health care professional.
