Kimmi: One 8.7 g scoop provides 300 mg of elemental magnesium. The 3 g figure in the panel refers to magnesium amino acid chelate, not elemental magnesium.
Jase: And there’s more than magnesium in it?
Kimmi: Yes—each scoop also contains taurine, vitamin C, calcium, potassium and 50 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride, a form of vitamin B6.
Mix 1 scoop (8.7 g) in 200 mL of water once daily. The supplied directions also list one scoop twice daily for therapeutic use; because that provides 100 mg of pyridoxine hydrochloride per day, use that amount only under professional supervision.
Warnings: Vitamin B6 can be harmful in large amounts or with long-term use. Stop use and seek advice if you develop tingling, burning or numbness. Magnesium may cause loose stools and can interact with some medicines; ask a pharmacist about spacing.
