This traditional herbal product is not proven to prevent viral illness, boost immunity or shorten recovery. Fever, breathing trouble, unusual sleepiness, poor feeding, dehydration or worsening symptoms in a baby or young child need medical assessment.
Although labelled from birth, it contains ethanol and liquorice. Liquorice can affect blood pressure and potassium and interact with medicines.
