Kimmi: Why take probiotics alongside antibiotics?
Jase: This formula provides two probiotic strains—Lactobacillus acidophilus LA-5 and Bifidobacterium animalis BB-12—with two billion CFU of each listed per serving.
Kimmi: Same time as the antibiotic?
Jase: No. The label says to leave two hours after the antibiotic dose, and prescribed treatment should still be followed exactly.
Adolescents and adults: Take 1–2 capsules daily. When taking antibiotics, take 1 capsule morning and night, two hours after the antibiotic dose. After finishing the antibiotic course, the label allows 1 capsule daily.
