Kimmi: No. It is a sweetened elderberry-and-acerola food supplement traditionally used for general support, but it does not prevent or treat infection. One teaspoon contains 4 g added sugar.
Jase: Can the whole family use the same amount?
Kimmi: No. The directions vary by age and exclude pregnancy. Use the supplied measure, refrigerate after opening, and seek advice for medicines, a medical condition, breastfeeding, or ongoing symptoms. Keep the sealed bottle away from children.
Ages 4 and up: 1 teaspoon daily.
Ages 1-3: ¼ teaspoon daily.
For additional support, adults (ages 12+) may take 1 teaspoon, 2 times daily.
