Kimmi: What’s standardised in the kava?
Jase: Each capsule contains 250mg of kava-root extract standardised to at least 30% kavalactones, plus 100mg of organic eleuthero root.
Kimmi: Is it for continuous use?
Jase: No. The label limits use to one or two capsules as needed and no more than four weeks.
Kava has been associated with rare but severe liver injury. Do not use if under 18, pregnant or breastfeeding, with alcohol, or when driving or operating machinery. Avoid other sedating products. Ask a healthcare professional before use if taking any medicine or if you have liver problems or regularly drink alcohol. Stop and seek medical care for unusual fatigue, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, fever, vomiting, dark urine, pale stools, or yellow skin or eyes.
Dose (adults): Take 1 capsule 1 to 2 times daily as needed. Daily usage not to exceed 4 weeks.
