Magnesium (Mg) is an essential mineral best known for its role in bone and nervous system function. However, most forms of Mg are not easily absorbed into the nervous system. Magtein™ is a patented form of Mg that readily crosses the blood-brain barrier for utilization in the brain. Laboratory studies indicate that Magtein™ supports brain health and may facilitate learning and memory, as well as a relaxed mood.
Suggested Use: Take 3 capsules daily in divided doses (take 1 capsule during the daytime, preferably in mid-afternoon and take 2 capsules one hour before sleep).
Caution: For adults only. Like other magnesium products, Magtein™ may induce sleepiness, drowsiness or headaches at first. Reduce the dosage, consult a doctor, or discontinue use if conditions persist for more than one week. Consult physician if pregnant/nursing, taking medication, or have a medical condition. After researching all the different types of Magnesium I decided I wanted the Magnesium L Threonate type for its brain clarity and especially for sleep and leg muscle cramps. I have only been taking 1 at night before bed only on the nights that I have been getting anxiety and know it's going to be a problem getting to sleep or when I have felt some muscle cramping in the day ...it seems to be working far more superior to other types of Magnesium. I don't know if it's because I have less stress with the covid 19 thing, but I am definately getting less anxiety and clarity in my thoughts and memory. I should mention that when I first started taking them I got a headache (which are seldom for me) this may have been a coincidence as l had been having anxiety attacks I have only been taking these over the last month so am interested to see how I will be long term ...but so far so good. Also only having to take these once a day is very economical, I do eat nuts and other foods that contain magnesium, so 1 a day is enough for me.
How can we be sure how effective or otherwise this is but it’s reputation is accepted. Anything assisting / supporting brain function has to be considered
