A thick, chocolatey dessert that feels much more like a treat than a “protein recipe”.
Ingredients – 2 serves
- 200g cottage cheese
- 150g Greek yoghurt
- 1 scoop chocolate protein powder
- 1 scoop creatine monohydrate
- 1 tbsp cocoa powder
- 1–2 tsp honeyor maple syrup
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup frozen or fresh cherries, pitted
- 1–2 tbsp milk, only if needed
Method
- Add the cottage cheese, Greek yoghurt, protein powder, creatine, cocoa, honey and vanilla to a blender.
- Blend until completely smooth and creamy.
- Add a splash of milk if it needs loosening.
- Spoon into two glasses or bowls.
- Top with the cherries.
- Chill for 20–30 minutes if you want it extra thick.
Protein: roughly 30g+ per serve, depending on the protein powder and yoghurt used.
Why this one works:
You get the protein from both the cottage cheese, Greek yoghurt and protein powder, while the creatine disappears into the chocolate mixture without changing the flavour.
Kimmi's reminder:
Creatine doesn't need to be complicated. If you can turn it into something you actually look forward to eating, you're much more likely to stick with it.
