Cooking with Kimmi – Crispy Chicken Protein Waffles

Forget sweet waffles. These savoury, crispy waffles are packed with protein and topped with tender chicken and a light yogurt herb drizzle. They're perfect for brunch, lunch, or a fun family dinner.

Ingredients (Makes 2 waffles)

Protein Waffles

Topping

  • 180g cooked chicken breast, sliced
  • ¼ cup Greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp mixed herbs
  • Cracked black pepper

Method

  1. Preheat your waffle maker.
  2. Blend together the waffle ingredients until smooth.
  3. Cook according to your waffle maker until golden and crispy.
  4. Mix the yogurt, lemon juice, herbs, and pepper together.
  5. Top the warm waffles with sliced chicken and drizzle over the yogurt sauce.
