High-Protein Vanilla Waffles

Cook Time: 15 minutes
Makes: 4 large waffles
Ingredients:
- 35g (1 scoops) BioX Protein vanilla whey protein powder
- 4 eggs
- 1 banana
- 2 cups milk of choice
- Pinch salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 2 tbsp olive oil (optional)
- 1 to 2 cups flour of choice - oat flour, gluten free flour, etc
Toppings
Greek yoghurt
Sugar free or regular maple syrup
Fresh fruit
Blend eggs and banana together until frothy in blender.
Add in 2 cups of milk, the olive oil and the protein powder and blend again.
Add in baking powder and salt and blend.
Blend in flour a 1/2 cup at a time until well mixed. You want a consistency of pancake batter so if it’s too thick add a bit more milk if it’s too thin add a bit more flour.
In 1/2 cup portions put on a waffle iron greased with olive oil spray.
Cook until done.
Yum!
These can be frozen in zip lock bags and taken out and reheated for a quick breakfast.
