Cooking with Kimmi - Savoury High-Protein Breakfast Wrap

New Year’s Resolution #4: “I want something filling that keeps me on track.”

Hey team,
Kimmi here — and this one’s for the people who wake up hungry and know sweet breakfasts just don’t cut it.

This Savoury High-Protein Breakfast Wrap is warm, filling, and feels like a proper meal — not “diet food.” It’s ideal for busy mornings, post-training fuel, or even a quick lunch.


Ingredients (1 serve)

  • 1 high-protein wrap or wholemeal wrap

  • 2 eggs

  • 6 egg whites (optional, for extra protein)

  • 1 scoop unflavoured  or lightly flavoured protein powder

  • Handful of spinach

  • 1–2 tbsp grated cheese

  • Salt & pepper

  • Optional extras:

    • Mushrooms

    • Capsicum

    • Hot sauce or relish


How to Make It

  1. Whisk eggs, egg whites, protein powder, salt, and pepper until smooth.

  2. Cook in a non-stick pan, stirring gently to scramble.

  3. Add spinach and cook until just wilted.

  4. Place eggs into the wrap, sprinkle with cheese and extras.

  5. Fold, toast lightly in the pan if you want, and eat.
