Cooking with Kimmi – Coffee Banana Protein Smoothie

New Year’s Resolution #2: “I want more energy (without living on caffeine).”

Hey team,


Kimmi here — and if January has you back at work, back at the gym, and you are feeling those Holiday Blues and watching the clock and wondering why your energy disappeared after 10am… this one’s for you.

This Coffee Banana Protein Smoothie gives you a gentle caffeine lift plus proper fuel, so you don’t crash an hour later. It’s quick, creamy, and perfect for busy mornings or a pre-workout pick-me-up.


Ingredients (1 serve)

  • 1 frozen banana

  • 1 scoop vanilla or caramel protein powder

  • 1 tsp instant coffee (or chilled espresso / nespresso )

  • ½ cup milk of choice

  • 1 tsp peanut butter or almond butter

  • Optional:

    • Ice cubes

    • Cinnamon or cocoa dusting


How to Make It

  1. Add all ingredients to a blender.

  2. Blend until thick, smooth, and creamy.

  3. Taste and adjust — more coffee for bite, more milk for smoothness.

Pour, sip, and actually feel human again.

Finish it off with a Jase's favourite steel straw ;-)
