These juicy chicken meatballs are coated in a light sweet chilli glaze and make a great dinner or meal-prep lunch. They pair well with rice, vegetables, or a fresh salad.
Ingredients (Makes 12 meatballs)
Meatballs
- 500g lean chicken mince
- 1 scoop unflavoured Zealea Unflavoured Protein
- 1 egg
- ½ cup panko breadcrumbs
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt and pepper
Sauce
- 2 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp lime juice
Method
- Preheat oven to 190°C.
- Combine all meatball ingredients until well mixed.
- Roll into 12 even-sized meatballs.
- Place on a lined baking tray.
- Bake for 18–20 minutes until cooked through.
- While baking, mix together the sweet chilli sauce, soy sauce, honey, and lime juice.
- Toss the cooked meatballs gently in the sauce before serving.
