feels indulgent, tastes like café food, and takes less than 15 minutes to make. Crispy golden French toast with a rich chocolate protein coating and fresh berries on top.
Ingredients (1–2 serves)
- 2 thick slices wholegrain or brioche-style bread
- 1 scoop chocolate Musashi protein powder
- 2 eggs
- ¼ cup milk
- ½ tsp cinnamon
- 1 tsp cocoa powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- Butter or spray oil for cooking
To serve:
- Strawberries or mixed berries
- Greek yogurt
- Optional drizzle of maple syrup
Method
- In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, protein powder, cocoa, cinnamon, and vanilla.
- Dip bread into the mixture until coated well.
- Heat a pan over medium heat with a little butter or spray oil.
- Cook bread for 2–3 minutes each side until golden brown.
- Serve with berries and a spoon of Greek yogurt.
